This site introduces Haworth and other towns of interest to the Brontė student. It also includes links to other Brontė sites and is a useful source for background on the lives of the Brontė sisters.

The Brontė Parsonage Museum
This visually attractive site has summaries of the novels and excellent biographical resources including a family history and a family tree. The museum provides a full and comprehensive educational service and details of its events are available here.

The Brontė Sisters Web
This site contains e-texts of most of the Brontė sisters' work and is also a very good starting point for any search for Brontė material on the web. Links are clearly indexed under the sisters' names to ease navigation of this site.

Penguin Classics
Use The Penguin Classics search facility to find over twenty well written essays on the Brontė sisters and their novels. Provided with each of the essays is a bibliography of related texts, all of which, unsurprisingly, can be purchased from Penguin Classics.

The Penguin Reader's Guide to Wuthering Heights
A brief introduction to Emily Brontė and her classic novel. This site also contains a number of discussion/essay questions on the novel, a short bibliography of related titles and a few links to related sites.

The Scarborough Connection
A very comprehensive site covering Anne Brontė's entire life, with a focus on her connections with the town of Scarborough. This site also contains summaries and critiques of Anne Brontė's work, copies of her five portraits and interesting contemporary accounts of what she looked like.
