Colleges
Association of Colleges
Home page of the association founded in 1996 to promote the cause of the UK's 485 colleges. Currently there is little more than information on initiatives and award schemes, although there is access to back issues of FE Now! online.

Londoncolleges.com
An ambitious and admirable site linking 44 FE and HE institutions in a single site to promote further education in the capital and make it easier for those looking for vocational courses, A level tuition or evening classes. It still feels a little unfinished, and could do with a generous helping of relevant content, but this is a positive start.

On Course
A useful site for anyone looking to track down a suitable course, either in London or abroad. The overseas sections contain details on all the maincolleges and universities, and useful details on the key aspects of travelling and studying in each country. A final section rounds up information and advice on jobs for graduates.

QIA Excellence Gateway
Online portal from the Quality Improvement Agency for people working in further education. FE staff will have access to guidance and information on good practice and will be able to share their ideas and thoughts with others in the sector.

Sixthform UK
A handy umbrella site for those interested in studying at sixth-form level, or for those already there. As well as guides to the differentcourses, and links to DFEE information on the different institutions, thereis advice on time management, links to free online learning sites and ahelpful careers section.

University of Wolverhampton UK college links
An exhaustive list of links for most of the UK's FE establishments.
